The CHPAMS Monthly is an e-newsletter of the China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS). The Newsletter provides updates and activities related to CHPAMS and information of potential interest for CHPAMS members.
CHPAMS Activities
1. "Bridging the Minds in Health Policy" 1st Conference of CHPAMS and China Health Review (CHR) in Atlanta on May 13-14, 2016.
Purpose: This conference aims to bridge the innovative minds within CHPAMS across disciplines related to health policy. Scientific and professional development sessions will help members establish professional networks. The Board of Directors of CHPAMS and Editorial Board of CHR will host business meetings and communicate with engaged members to promote the organization and the journal to a new stage.
Keynote Speaker: Jeffrey P. Koplan, MD, MPH, CHPAMS Advisor, Vice President for Global Health at Emory University, Former Director of US CDC.

2. The China Medical Board invites young investigators from Chinese Universities for a sixth annual round of proposal submissions for the CMB Open Competition (CMB-OC) research program in the field of Health Policy and System Science (HPS). This year’s OC program will prioritize project submissions that seek to advance quality with equity in China’s health system. Projects that aim to improve the quality and equity of health care system in China will receive higher priority than other themes. Eligible applicants for 2016 exclude OC winners in 2015, 2014, and 2013. If interested, please submit your abstract to lzhou@cmbfound.org before the deadline of Apr 15th.
