CHPAMS Newsletter is a monthly e-newsletter from the China Health Policy and Management Society (CHPAMS). The Newsletter serves as a communication platform to provide updates and activities related to CHPAMS and information of potential interest for CHPAMS members.

2. Volunteer Policy and Volunteer of the Year Award Nomination

The Board of Director approved the Volunteer Policy, which has a special clause to sponsor F1 students in the U.S. undergoing optional practical training (OPT). For more information about this policy, please visit CHPAMS website.  

To recognize the the contributions made by volunteers in CHPAMS, the Board has dedicated the first award in the organization to the volunteers: Volunteer of the Year Award.

Here are the eligibility and nomination procedure:

•    Either a registered member of CHPAMS or a volunteer him/herself can make the nomination

•    The nominee is a registered member of CHPAMS who conducted volunteering for CHPAMS in this year (Member registration: http://www.chpams.org/member-registration/).

•    The nominator writes a brief letter describing the efforts and contributions of the nominee. A short bio of the nominee should be included.

•    Please send the nomination letter to Dr. Harry Zhang (harryqzhang@gmail.com)

•    Deadline: September 30, 2015. 

3.  "Members' Corner" section aims to feature and promote the accomplishments from our members. If you have new publications or awards that would like to share with peer members, please let us know at newsletter@chpams.org.
